Justin McAdams was born in Houston Texas, but raised in Tujunga, California. Justin got his start in the industry working for various rigging companies. He first met the Darkfire crew on Fear Factor, when he was hired to help rig. By the end of that first season, having put in many
hard hours working closely with the Darkfire team, Justin knew he wanted to pursue lighting as
a full time career.
It wasn’t long before Justin found himself working more and more with Oscar Dominguez, and the Darkfire team, over the years Justin has been paying his dues, and working hard. Always looking for an opportunity to learn and grow. Justin is now an essential member of Darkfire
Lighitng, working as a talented Gaffer, and Chief Lighitng Technician.
Some of Justin’s favorite shows to work on include: The Voice, The Bachelor/The Bachelorette, The ALMA Awards, Lopez Tonight, Masters of Champions, Are you Smarter Than a 5th Grader, Fear Factor, American Gladiators and Wipeout.
When He is not running a crew, Justin can be found out on the Pacific Ocean, where he spends time fishing, and enjoying the wilderness.
